Sri Vedagarbha Theertha succeeded Sri Viswaraja Theertha and led the Peeta for an impressive 52 years.
During his tenure, he embarked on a pilgrimage to sacred sites such as Kashi and Prayaga. Renowned for his scholarly prowess, he is believed to have been a contemporary of Vyasaraja.
Sri Vedagarbha Theertha also visited the Vijayanagar kingdom during the reign of Ramaraya. There, he engaged in numerous debates and emerged victorious, showcasing his mastery over various Shastras. Impressed by his knowledge, King Ramaraya bestowed upon him a golden pallakki and other precious ornaments.
Upon transferring the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Hiranyagarbha Theertha, Sri Vedagarbha Theertha entered Vrindavana at Pajaka.
