Shri Vadeendra Teertharu succeeded Sri Viswapati Theertha and led the Peeta for an impressive 37 years. He resided for an extended period at Dharmapuri, situated on the banks of the river Godavari. Sri Vadeendra Theertha meticulously imparted teachings on all Shastras to his disciples, reportedly conducting this instruction a remarkable 18 times.
He typically visited Udupi during the Paryaya festival, spending the rest of his time at Dharmapuri. Towards the end of his life, he returned to Udupi and passed on the Ashrama to Sri Vidyapati Theertha.
Upon relinquishing the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Vidyapati Theertha, Sri Vadeendra Theertha entered Vrindavana at Pajaka.
