Sri Subodhanidhi Theertha - Hebbani Sheshacharya's guru Sri Prajnanidhi Theertha renamed him as Sri Subodhanidhi Theertha. But he was famous as Hebbani Sheshacharya itself.
He was basically from Hebbani village. Sheshacharya was a great devotee of Lord Gopinatha. Before taking the charge of the Mutt, daily he used to walk from Hebbani to Mulabagil and worship Lord Gopinatha with Tulasi leaves. Then only he used to take the prasad. After teaching the disciples of the Mutt, he used to return to Hebbani. This was his daily routine.
In 1839 he handed over the responsibilities of the Mutt to his son-in-law Shyamacharya and renamed him as Sri Vyragyanidhi Theertha and was immortalised on Ashada bahula chaturadsahi on Sharvari samvatsara.
