Shri Satyapoorna Teertharu was the pontiff of Shri Uttaradi Matha. He was formerly known as Shri Krishnacharya. He was initiated to sanyasa and then ordained to Shri Uttaradi Matha by Shri Satyabhinava Teertha.
During his period he donated a lot of wealth, ornaments to many of the temples all around the country for their development. Even today, we can find diamond and gold necklaces being offered to the respective deities of the temples which were given by Shri Satyapoorna Teertha, Gaya is one such example.
Shri Satyapoorna Teertharu ordained Sanyasa to Shri Satyapriya Teertharu. Once Shri Satyapoorna Teertharu fell ill. At that time Shri Satyapriya Teertharu was on tour for propagation of Dvaitha Philsophy and could not come. Shri Satyapoorna Teertharu ordained sanyasa to Shri Satyavijaya Teertharu . Shri Satyapoorna Teertharu entered Brindavana near the bank of the river Krishna in Kolpur on Parabhava samvatsara Jyesta Krishna Dvitiya.
