The 8th seer in this lineage is Shri Vidyesha Teertha. He passed on the traditional philosophical truths to the next generation. He worshipped Shri Rama with devotion. He served as peetadhipati for about 47 years and visited all sacred places. In his final days, he visited Rameshwara and performed his sadhana. In Shalivahana shaka 1356 (1433 A.D.) Pramaathi nama samvatsara shravana shuddha saptami he attained the feet of Ramanaatha at Rameshwara.
