The eighteenth seer in the lineage is Shri Raghunatha Teertha.He is an eminent seeker who lead his life practicing extremely difficult devout austerities.The paryaya of Shri Raghunatha Teertha was hailed as the most festive paryaya of the time.
He adorned the peeta of Shri Hrishikesha Teertha for a period of 32 years.
Shri Raghunatha Teertha was touring the country during his final days. In Shalivahana shaka 1547 (1624 A.D.) Raktaakshi samvatsara chaitra shuddha navami – the auspicious day that his adored Lord Shri Ramachandra incarnated, he worshipped Lord Rama, pleased Him and attained the feet of Trivikrama Shri Krishna at Dwaraka.
