Previous (Shri Vidyapati Teertharu) | (Shri Raghunatha Teertharu)
The seventeenth eminent seer in the lineage of Shri Hrishikesha Teertha is Shri Raghupati Teertha. There is a record at the matha of him having performed Shrimanyaayasudha mangala 6 times. His name has procured a prominent place in the list of scholarly gems during the period of Shri Vadirajaru.
He adorned the peeta of Shri Matha for 17 years. He spent his final days on pilgrimages and in Shalivahana shaka 1511 (1588 A.D.), Sarvadhaari samvatsara jyeshta bahula dwiteeya thithi, he attained Haripada at Haridwara.
