स्वान्तदोषप्रशान्त्यर्थं शान्तस्वान्तमुपाश्रये ।
लक्ष्मीकान्तकरोद्भूतं रमाकान्तयतीश्वरम् ॥
The first document present in the name of Sri Swamiji is dated Srisaka 1629 and the latest is on 1672. So Sri Swamiji ruled for a long time. Swamiji is from Acharya family of Sheli village of Lolaye in Goa. Later many Vatus from the Canacona have become Peethadhipatis of the Math.
Swamiji used to stay in Ankola as well as Partagali and attained Haripada in Ankola Sri Veera Vittala Math on Srisaka 1672, Pramoda Samvatsara Margashirsha Shukla Pratipada.
