Shri Punyasloka Teertharu

Sri Punyasloka Theertha follows as the third saint in the guru parampare of Shiroor Mutt after Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Vasudeva Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 18 years.

Renowned for his insightful revelations regarding past and future events, Sri Punyasloka Theertha was blessed by Mukhyaprana. His prophetic abilities garnered him widespread recognition among devotees.

Upon relinquishing the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Vedagamya Theertha, Sri Punyasloka Theertha is said to have embarked on his final journey to Vrindavana, with his divine presence believed to reside in Kumbhakonam.
