As Shri Narayana Pandit Acharya says, Shri Madhwacharya named his disciples by recognizing their characteristics. As quoted in the Madhwa Vijaya Narasimha Padadharah, Shri Narasimha Teertha was graced by Lord Narasimha which Shriman Madhwacharyaru recognized.
He was an ardent devotee who spent all his years in lesson and discourse. Later, he toured the Punyakshetras in India. Narasimha Teertha was a Mahatapasvi. He bestowed Sanyasa ashrama to Kamelekshara Teertha on his pilgrimage to the North, he attained Haripada in Baghirathi in 1310, Sowmya nama samvatsara Chaitra Shudda Panchami
