Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha is the seventeenth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Raghavottama Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 18 years.
He dedicated many years to rigorous tapas, including fasting, on the banks of the river Kaveri. As a prominent scholar himself, Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha actively engaged in religious discourses and supported scholars from across the country.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Viswabhushana Theertha, Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha is believed to have entered Vrindavana at Gayatrishila near the Kaveri River. However, this detail requires thorough research for confirmation.
