Sri Lakishmikantha Theertha resided in Narasimha Theertha and devoted himself to the worship of Lord Yoga Narasimha for a period. Afterwards, he journeyed to Vengere in Tamil Nadu, situated along the banks of the river Cauvery.
Upon arrival, he observed that every household in the township served as a Gurukul, prompting him to decide to settle there permanently. He provided religious guidance to the royal family of Karur, contributing to the spiritual welfare of the community.
He designated Sri Srikantha Theertha as his successor before his immortalization in 1767 on Jeshta Shudha Chaturdashi, coinciding with the Aradhana celebrations of Sri Sripadaraja, marking the culmination of his earthly journey.
