Next (Shri Shrivatsankita Teertharu)
Sri Janardhana Theertha is the first pontiff of Krishnapura mutt and was personally initiated into the Ashrama by Sri Madhwacharya himself.
In the Sumadhwa Vijaya, he is referred to as ‘jananadyupamardina:’, indicating his ability to alleviate doshas (flaws) related to one's birth.
This capability is attributed to his direct discipleship under Acharya Madhwa.
Acharya Madhwa entrusted him with an idol of Kaleeyamardhana Krishna, depicting Krishna with two shoulders.
Sri Janardhana Theertha later bestowed the Ashrama upon Sri Srivatsanka Theertha before embarking on a pilgrimage to North India.
After handing over the leadership to Sri Srivatsanka Theertha, it is believed that Sri Janardhana Theertha entered Vrundavana (the holy abode of departed saints) at Prayaga, although this account requires further confirmation through thorough research.
