Shri Lakshminivasa Teertharu is a 28th saint from Shri Vyasaraja Math, Kundapura. His guru was Shri Lakshmikantha Teertha, and his disciple was Shri Lakshmivara Teertharu. The period of his service and poorvashrama name need to be researched. His Brindavan is located at Hullekal. His aradhana is observed in the month of Aashada, during Shukla Paksha, on Panchami Tithi
The Lakshminarayana idol in the temple was consecrated by Shri Vyasaraja.
Additionally, there is a "Torana Ganesha" located at the main door of the temple.
Vyasaraja used to offer naivedya (sacred food) to Ganesha, and he would also partake in it.
The main shrine of Shri Lakshminivasa Tirtharu is positioned opposite to the memorial shrine of Vyasaraja Gurusarvabhowmaru.
