Sri Chintamani Theertha holds the esteemed position as the eighth saint in the guru parampare lineage of the Pejawar Mutt, succeeding Sri Adhokshaja Theertha.
He received his Ashrama from Sri Uttama Theertha and served as the leader of the Peeta for a period of 12 years.
Unfortunately, there is limited information available about Sri Chintamani Theertha, although he was recognized as a great tapasvi (ascetic).
Sri Chintamani Theertha appointed Sri Damodara Theertha as his successor before passing away near Kanva Tirtha on the 5th day of Jeshta Shudha.
