Sri Lakshmidhara Theertha is the twenty-second saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Lakshmipati Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 15 years.
Interestingly, Sri Lakshmidhara Theertha was the Poorvashrama brother of the pontiff of Sri Puttige Mutt. During his tenure, he embarked on pilgrimages to sacred sites such as Kashi and Rameswaram, enriching his spiritual journey.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Lakshmiramana Theertha, Sri Lakshmidhara Theertha is believed to have entered Vrindavana at Udupi, marking the end of his earthly journey.
