Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha is the twentieth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Lakshmikanta Theertha and served as the pontiff for a duration of 27 years.
Although not much information is available about him, Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha was renowned as a great philosopher and led the affairs of the mutt for the entirety of his 27-year tenure. He also performed the Sudha mangala ritual thirteen times during his lifetime.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Lakshmipati Theertha, Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha is believed to have entered Vrindavana at Udupi, marking the end of his earthly journey.
