Sri Vedavyasa Theertha is the fifth saint in the lineage of Shiroor Mutt following Sri Vamana Theertha. He received his Ashrama initiation from Sri Vedagamya Theertha and served as the pontiff for a period of 17 years.
Endowed with extensive knowledge of yoga, Sri Vedavyasa Theertha possessed remarkable insight into past, present, and future events. He traveled extensively throughout India, engaging in debates with opponents and emerging victorious. Additionally, he exhibited expertise in music.
Upon passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Vedavedya Theertha, it is believed that Sri Vedavyasa Theertha took his final rites in Vrindavana, situated on the banks of the river Tungabhadra. However, this account requires thorough research for confirmation.
