Sri Srinivasa Theertha is the 14th saint in the lineage of gurus at Puttige mutt after Madhwacharya. He received his spiritual training from Sri Srivallabha Theertha and led the Peeta for 33 years.
Despite his long tenure, there isn't much information available about him. He is believed to have been a contemporary of Sri Vadiraja of Sode mutt. He obtained lands from Barakuru king Palapattanayaka near Kambala.
After passing on the leadership of the Peeta to Sri Srinidhi Theertha, it is said that Sri Srinivasa Theertha entered Vrindavan at Udupi.
