Following Sri Gunanidhi Theertha, Sri Gunasaranidhi Theertha assumed leadership of the Sri Mutt. Upon his return to Mulbagal from Mysore, he actively engaged with religious scholars, fostering connections aimed at the welfare of the community. He regularly invited them to the Mutt, where he honored them for their contributions.
Sri Gunasaranidhi Theertha's tenure is often referred to as the Golden period of the Mutt, characterized by prosperity and spiritual growth. With dedication and diligence, he oversaw the affairs of the Mutt for over nine years, ensuring its continued flourishing.
Ultimately, Sri Gunasaranidhi Theertha entered Brindavan in Mulbagal on Pushya Shudha Dashami of Eashwara Samvatsara, marking the conclusion of his earthly journey and the beginning of his eternal presence in the hearts of his followers.
